General Users
1) What is FinanceConnectSingapore about?
FinanceConnectSingapore is developed by the Institute of Banking & Finance (IBF), with the support of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and key industry partners. It is a gateway to a wealth of information about building a career in the Singapore financial services sector. This user-friendly one-stop portal houses information that you need to know about living and working in the Singapore financial services sector. It also connects you to major financial institutions operating in this global city, and the many educational and training organisations participating in this sector.

2) Do I need to register as a user?
For general browsing/searching for information, there is no need to register as a user. But if you are an institution that would like to post information pertaining to your organization, courses or events, you will have to register with IBF.

3) Are there any fees for using the portal?
There are no charges.

4) Are all the financial institutions located in Singapore (FI) included in the database?
Participation in the FinanceConnectSingapore is voluntary. A large number of the banks, fund management companies and insurance companies operating in Singapore have already participated in this portal and information on these companies can be found in the portal.

For a full listing of the financial institutions registered with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), please refer to the MAS website http://www.mas.gov.sg/frames/directory/index.htm.

5) Are the financial institutions listed here hiring?
FinanceConnectSingapore is not a recruitment portal. The job functions featured under the respective financial institutions indicate that the particular company has business in those areas, and are not vacancies. If you wish to seek employment with the company that you are interested in, please submit your application directly to them. For your convenience, we have provided a link to their websites.

6) How do I post my resume and apply to the financial institutions that I am interested in?
FinanceConnectSingapore is not a recruitment portal. The job functions featured under the respective financial institutions indicate that those companies have such a business function in their Singapore operations. They are not job vacancies. You will have to write to the company you are interested in to enquire if they are hiring for that position. For your convenience, we have provided a link to their websites.



Financial Institutions and Training Institutions
1) How can I get my company listed as one of the financial institutions on FinanceConnectSingapore?
To have your company listed, you need to be a registered financial institution in Singapore. If your company meets this criterion, you can download the form here , complete it with the required information and submit it to IBF (fcs@ibf.org.sg) for consideration. If your request for posting of the information is approved, IBF will inform you of the outcome via email and upload the information onto the portal.

2) How can I get my company or training courses listed on the portal?
To have your company or training programmes listed, you must have programmes delivered in Singapore itself. If your company meets this criterion, you can download the form here , complete it with the required information and submit it to IBF (fcs@ibf.org.sg) for consideration. If your request for posting of the information is approved, IBF will inform you of the outcome via email and upload the information onto the portal.

3) How can I have my event listed on FinanceConnectSingapore?
Institutions in the financial services sector that organize events that pertain to the financial sector or the public at large can apply to the IBF for an account to post suitable events on FinanceConnectSingapore. Events that are listed must not be in-house events, where the participation is limited to only the company\'s own staff. It can be training-related, such as seminars and conferences, or charitable events such as a charity golf or marathon.

To request for an institutional access right to the portal, please email fcs@ibf.org.sg.

Each FI is entitled to one login ID. If you would like to update the existing ID to a new officer, please send us a customer support request email using the same instructions we have printed above.

To retrieve your password, please use the "FORGOT PASSWORD?" feature. The system will forward the password to the registered email address.



Registered institutional users of FinanceConnectSingapore
1) If I forget my login ID / password, can I retrieve the information from your database?
The login ID is the email address of the registered representative of the approved institutional user. To retrieve your login ID, please send a customer support request email to customersupport@jobsfactory.com, with the subject "FinanceConnectSingapore". Please provide JobsFactory with your organization name, your full name, designation and contact number. JobsFactory will reply within two working days.

To retrieve your password, please use the "FORGOT PASSWORD?" feature. The system will forward the password to the registered email address.

2) How many users can I register to update information relating to my organization?
Each organization is entitled to one login ID. If you would like to change the registered user to another person, please send a customer support request email to customersupport@jobsfactory.com, with the subject "FinanceConnectSingapore".

3) How do I update my organization\'s details?
Please log on to the Admin Module using your login ID and password. Go under "FI Profile" and update the information as required.
